No initial prepayment is required to book, however a valid credit card will be required at the time of booking. A 30% prepayment will be automatically charged to your card 3 business days before your event (the Wednesday before your event for weekend bookings).

The remaining balance (70%) will be automatically be charged to your credit card on file 3 business days after your event.

Absolutely! We use Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor, so your full card number is never visible to us and is securely encrypted at all times.

Yes! Many clients book our magic show along with face painting and balloon twisting to keep kids entertained for their entire event. And even if you book multiple services, it's a great deal as you'll only be charged one booking fee per event.

We accept bookings on a first-come, first-served basis so we recommend securing your date as soon as possible. We generally recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially for weekends when demand is high.

If you’re planning a birthday party or school event during busy seasons (spring and fall), it’s best to secure your date as early as possible to guarantee availability. You can book as early as 4 months in advance and as late as 48 hours in advance (if there is still availability).

Our current pricing for 2025:

• Magic show → $199*

• Face Painter → $99/hour*

• Balloon Twister → $99/hour*

*Plus a one-time booking fee of $30 per event

Our services are generally designed for kids ages 3–8, though older kids and adults enjoy them too! Since the magic show relies heavily on audience interaction, it's recommend primarily for audiences where at least 50% of the kids will be 3.5 years old or older - for the best experience.

Yes. We provide everything our artists will need including tables, chairs, and for the magic show, a blanket for the kids to sit on and sound equipment as needed. You only have to provide the space and the excited guests!

Yes. We carry a $1M General Liability Insurance Policy for your peace of mind.

Yes! We can perform indoors or outdoors and do not require any access to electrical power.

Also it's worth noting that balloons will pop more frequently outdoors due to sharp grass, heat, and even changes in humidity.

We entertain at birthday parties, school events, corporate events, fundraisers, civic events, and festivals. Whether you need a face painter, balloon twister, or magician in Orange County, we deliver engaging, family-friendly fun at affordable rates.

Yes. However if services do not overlap, it is possible that the same artist may provide more than one of your services.

Tipping is not required or expected, but always appreciated! 100% of tips go directly to the artists. If there are parking fees to access your event, covering that cost is expected. After your event, we'll email you an option to add a tip before finalizing payment.

If more guests arrive than expected, our artists will do their best to simplify designs so as to get to as many kids as possible within the allotted time.

You are also welcome to ask the artist directly if they can extend their time.

If you’re not completely satisfied with the entertainment, simply email us at team@theimaginators.com describing why you were disappointed and a voucher for the full amount paid will be issued for you to use at a future event.
